Why Choose Laurel Highlands Workforce & Opportunity Center?

Laurel Highlands Workforce & Opportunity Center (LHWOC), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is a Pennsylvania Private Licensed School located in Westmoreland County. Our school is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Get Started

We design our programs directly for the needs of Westmoreland County healthcare employers. During the development of each course of study, an advisory board made up of local members of each respective industry provide input to help make each program reflect the changes in the career market and to ensure that LHWOC graduates are job-ready on day one.

Our Mission

At LHWOC, our mission is to remove the barriers for individuals who are under & unemployed or in a transition of employment, by providing high-quality Medical Training and a Career Opportunity in that field.
